Workshop ‘The Biopsychosocial Model as the Basis for a Complete Rehabilitation Solution in VR’

In this workshop: 'The Biopsychosocial Model as the Basis for a Complete Rehabilitation Solution in VR,' one of our partners introduced Corpus VR. Corpus VR is an exercise platform that is widely applicable, addressing both physical and neurological conditions, as well as chronic pain, stress, anxiety, etc. Additional motion sensors also provide the capability for accurate motion tracking of both the torso and lower limbs. With a dashboard on the accompanying tablet PC, therapists have the ability to observe and flexibly to adjust the exercises during the practice itself.

The following program was arranged:

1:30 pm: Registration
2:00 pm: Introduction to Corpus VR, background, and applications
2:45 pm: Live testing of the applications
3:30 pm: Case study "Use of motion sensors for trunk stability"
3:45 pm: Case study "Hemianopsia, how to train patients with a visual impairment in VR"
4:00 pm: Kahoot quiz
4:15 pm: Conclusion and networking

This workshop took place on July 6th from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm at The Penta – Howest
